The latest reunion was held at The Holiday Inn at Birmingham on Saturday the 26th Of May 2007. It was well attended and much enjoyed by XX members, their wives and guests. Some of the members who stayed at the Inn on the Friday before the reunion mentioned that the organisation and service at the Inn left much to be desired on the Friday and the poor service was also noted on the "big night" The service at the bar was atrocious as were the prices and the very limited menu served was never going to win any culinary plaudits.

At the end of the dinner our President Comander Alan Kennedy addressed the association and paid tribute to  Dave Tull who sadly "Crossed the Bar" in August last year. He also posed the question of the future of the association, as we are now getting older with some of our members in their 70's, for how long did we want to continue? As it would be very sad to see the association wither away, perhaps we should set a date for the final reunion? This is only a suggestion and the final decision is up to the members, so please give us your views and suggestions. 

A form has been prepared for the views of our members and we would appreciate if as many of you as possible would complete the form with your views of the associations future.

It should be mentioned however that there are many more ex Shipmates who sailed on Dreadnought who are not members of the association and we would ask that if you know any of them please persuade them to join. (its FREE)

The raffles etc held at the reunion at present are our only means of income to cover the cost of postage etc but hopefully sales from our shop will also contribute, as all profits (if any) will also go towards this. It would also be helpfull if you could advise us of any change of home address, email address and telephone numbers in order to cut down on the number (about 20%) of letters and emails returned.  We now have a considerable number of photographs on the web site although some of you have sent photos without telling us who are actually in them!
