Commander P.J.Cobb              From 6th April 1965 to 6th January 1969.

Commander A.G.Kennedy        From 6th January 1969 to 7th June 1971.

Commander G.C.B.Rodgers.     From 7th June 1971 to 27th November 1972.

Commander J.P.B. O'Riordan.   From 27th November 1972 to 27th October 1975.

Commander H.K.P.Mitchell       From 27th October 1975 to 22nd May 1979

Commander J.F.G Salt             From May 1979 to ???

Commander J.P.Clarke           ??? 

Chris Wreford-Brown took Dreadnought from Plymouth to Chatham under tow. She was later towed from Chatham to Rosyth crewless.
